Is this the cutest picture ever?

On Christmas day, we got up about 9:30am. Kylie had been up since 7 and was coming in and whispering in my ear every 1/2 hour or so. It reminded me of when we were kids and did the same thing to my mom. We started about 5am though. We opened presents and stockings and then played with Bekalynn and her toys. She loves her rocking horse. She gets up there with her hat on and just beams away. She is so proud to have her own horse and be up there by herself.
It was definately a White Christmas! We went down to Rowenes house and exchanged presents down there and then off to Grandma Hoffmanns for dinner and gift exchange. Dinner was great but half of the family was missing. They had all gotten snowed in in Salt Lake City.
We got out of there when it started storming really bad! It had stormed all day but now it was scary. The streets were bad, but when we were getting ready to go up the canyon, you couldnt even see the road. All we could see was the snow flying into us and white beyond that. We made it up the canyon, and then as we were coming around the lake, the truck started to slide. We went right, then left, then right again, sliding sideways down the road. On one side is mountain, the other a lake. It was pretty scary! We ended up stopped facing oncoming traffic! All I could think of was my family and how we were all going to end up in the lake. But thanks to Lynns skill at driving, we are still here to wreak havoc in your lives another day. I dont know what I would have done. Probably stopped before even going into the canyon. I hate driving in the snow and storms. Anyway, we are alive today, and have another reason to pick on Lynn! (you can never have enough!)

We want to thank everyone for all the wonderful gifts that we received and for the great company! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and missed us lots (since we missed you lots!)

Now that Christmas if finally over and we have our house back to normal, we have to start thinking about the cruise we are going on in mid~January! We'll have lots of pictures and news on that later. Our love to all and hope you all have a great and SAFE New Year!

Our humble little tree before the chaos occured! We all got stockings, even Travis and the 2 dogs. Boy, are they spoiled!

Well, as soon as we got back from Vegas, Kylie had her choir concert on the 17th. She was so excited and nervous! Her choir teacher had given her some song that was way too difficult. Cory, her accompaniast, called and talked to me about it. Cory helped Kylie pick out a new song, one that was good and funny, The Twelve Days After Christmas. The sound was a bit crapy but she did a really great job! She got lots of applause and hoots and hollers, she was just beaming. I tried to download video from her solo but it wouldnt download. Just the pictures. Anway, congratulations Kylie. You did great!

Kylie with her piano accompaniast Cory Hansen. Thanks Cory, she couldnt have done it without you!

My family and I ventured down to Vegas this December. We went down for the work Christmas party and to visit family. I sure do miss them! We went down on the 9th and left on the 14th. We got there late Tuesday night. We played tourists most of the time. We went and saw The Ethel M Chocolate factory's cactus gardens all done up for Christmas, the M&M factory, and Lake Las Vegas. Taylor took Travis down to the Strip and they went site seeing. We got to spend alot of time with Grandma Hinton because she is STILL at the house with Mom. Its been over 2 months! So say a prayer for them both. PLEASE!
Anyway, we had a good time at the office party and met lots of nice people. We didnt get to visit anyone while we were down there though. (sorry Miste!) I got to see my son, Tyler. That was the best of the best. Seeing and spending time with my family! The worst part is always the traveling! And to make it worse, when we got to Utah, it was snow, snow, ice and more snow! Luckily we have great neighbors and they had plowed us out! Thanks Mikey!

This is my son Tyler. He's handsome, huh? Behind him was the party!

My family! Arent we cute? Lynn, Toni, Tyler, Taty, Travis, Bekalynn, and Kylie. We dont get to see Tyler much since he lives in Boulder City, NV. It was a treat to see him, spend time with him, spoil him a little, AND get a PICTURE too.

Lynn and I at Ethel M's Chocolate factory. They light up and decorate the cactus gardens at Christmas. We went down to Vegas with the kids and Taty's boyfriend Travis. We took them all to see the garden and the M&M factory. Taty and Travis loved it. I think they went back there a couple more times before we left.
